• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button on the welcome screen to begin.
  • The game will briefly show the rules of Snap. This acts as your pause menu.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • To snap:
      • Left click anywhere on the screen with your mouse.
      • Press the space bar on your keyboard.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to snap.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The computer player takes the left side, and the human player takes the right side.
    • The number of cards each player has is shown on the top center of the screen.
    • The pause button is located on the top right corner. On the pause menu are the following buttons:
      • On the top left is the home button. Use this to return to the welcome screen.
      • On the top right is the sound button. Use this to toggle the game’s audio.
      • On the bottom center is the play button. Select this to begin or resume.
• Game Play
  • Setup
    • Each player has 22 cards. There are 44 cards in total.
  • Snap at pairs of cards.
    • You and the computer player must draw cards. This is done automatically.
    • Be the first to snap up a pair of identical cards.
      • The player who snaps the pair first takes all the cards in the pile.
      • If you snap at cards that aren’t a pair, your opponent takes the pile
  • Outlast your opponent.
    • The player who draws their their last card loses the match.
    • As the game goes on, the player with less cards is at a marked disadvantage.
      • If you have fewer cards, you must snap at as many pairs as you can to keep playing.
      • The longer you keep drawing cards, the more likely it is that you run out of cards.
      • It is possible to snatch a second chance at the last minute if the last card you draw forms a pair, but this is an unlikely occurrence.
