• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the bottom right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.

  • Basic rules
    • Move the turtle shells around the grid.
      • Select a shell, then select an empty space where you want it to go.
      • The shells can only go where it can move unimpeded.
      • Each time you select a shell, the game highlights all the spaces it can go.
    • Form groups of 3 or more identical shells to clear them from the screen.
      • Matches may be vertical or horizontal.
      • Diagonal matches do not count.
      • A single shell can be used as part of a vertical match and a horizontal match at the same time.
    • Each time you make a move, another trio of shells is added to the grid.
      • You see what these shells are above the grid.
      • Keep removing shells to prevent the grid from filling up for as long as possible.
      • When the grid is completely filled, the game ends.
    • On the game over screen are the following controls:
      • Select the home button on the left to quit and return to the welcome screen.
      • Select the reset button on the right to start a new session.

    • Each shell is worth 10 points. You receive a minimum of 30 points for each line you clear.
    • Your best score updates in real time. The moment you beat your previous best score, it updates.
  • Tips
    • Try to keep the center area of the board open so you have options to make many different sets.
    • Whenever possible try to match off sets of 4 or more so that you are clearing more shells from the board than the game is adding.
    • When choosing where to play shells that do not complete a set try to leave open space to maneuver and favor set options that allow you to match another shell at either end of the set.
    • When you have multiple similar play options use the “next up” information to see what types of shells are coming next so you can favor completing the set that will soon have more shells of that color on the board.
