• Starting the Game
  • Click the red play button with the yellow triangle on it.
    • Your high score is stored in your local web browser.
  • The welcome screen also has a button in the upper right corner for turning the sound off, though that would sort of defeat the purpose of this game. 😉
• Game Controls
  • Click on 1 of the 24 items to place it in 1 of the 10 slots.
  • Repeat the process until the 10 slots are full.
  • Here is a list of the 24 items:
    • first screen: chainsaw, vacuum, mixing bowl, ceramic bowl, boards with nails, vintage record player, hammer, pillow, spring, porcelain vase, board, glass wine bottle
    • second screen: pan lid, dog bone, cheese, tennis racket, toolbox, eggs, bell, pot, basketball, frying pan, smartphone / cell phone, strainer
• Strategy
  • Item order
    • From one to ten the items start near the top of the stairs and then descend down the stairs as you count to higher items.
    • Start with something that would cause a big loss of balance (like a basketball) then include something like a spring to add more kinetic energy.
  • Track and refine your strategy
    • Keep adding more noisy items the further down the stairs you get.
    • Some items that work well in sequence provide significant point bonuses and noise from early on in the fall carries forward your total noise progress.
    • You can use a particular item twice or more if you like, but in general it rarely makes sense to use the same item twice in a row as the game scores bonuses in part based on variation of sound and how well the items work together.
    • Track how the noise meter moves and look for big jumps. Where you see those you know you had 2 items which worked well together.
    • As soon as you put the last item in place the game automatically starts, so you may want to create a screenshot or write down your item order so you can build off success in the next round.
