  • Level selection
    • The level selection screen consists of 10 portraits representing a room in the Palace Hotel.
    • Each level is unlocked in consecutive order. Only the first level is available at the start of the game.
    • Your best score for the level is shown below the portrait.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already played.
  • Basic rules
    • Find all the items in the cluttered room before the timer runs out.
      • You start the first level with a timer of 5 minutes.
      • Each subsequent level removes 20 seconds off the timer to where you must beat the final level in 2 minutes.
    • Left click or tap on an item to find it.
      • Each item that you find is removed from the list.
      • Early in the game, each item found will be replaced with another one.
      • Make sure to select only the items shown on the list. You will receive a 5-second penalty for selecting the wrong thing.
    • Items
      • Some items may only partially be in view while other items are obscured by additional items.
      • Be sure to zoom in and out repeatedly to get multiple vantage points if you feel stuck early in a level.
  • Scoring
    • You get 50 points for every item you successfully find.
    • You also get a bonus depending on how fast you found all the items in the game. You gain 3 bonus points for every second remaining on the timer.
    • Each time you miss a selection, you lose 5 seconds, or about 15 extra points.
  • Hints
    • You have an unlimited number of hints. Use these to find items that you’re having difficulty spotting.
    • To use a hint, select the hint button.
      • This will highlight all the objects currently on the list with a red box.
      • To find the object, select them.
      • The object’s location will be briefly highlighted with a red box on the screen.
    • If you select the hint button while you’re zoomed in, it will automatically zoom you out.
    • A hint comes with a 25-point penalty.
      • Your points don’t go on the negative.
      • You can still use hints if you run out of points.
