• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Left click or tap anywhere to begin.
    • Select the customize button below the title of the game to open the game’s customization options.

  • Basic rules
    • Left click or tap to make the ball rise.
    • Drop the ball into the hoop.
      • Each time you drop the ball into the hoop, the hoop reappears elsewhere.
      • Sometimes, there are 2 hops instead of just one. Dunk the ball into both of them.
      • Repeat the process for as long as you can.
    • Make sure you land a basket before the timer expires.
      • The timer becomes active after you land the first basket.
      • When the timer expires, the ball slows down and can no longer be controlled.
        • If the ball is close enough to the hoop, the game will not end in a game over. The game resumes once the ball falls in.
        • Otherwise, the game ends when the ball falls on the ground.
      • If there are 2 hoops, the timer will continue running until the ball goes through both hoops.
        • As you advance the game can go from 2 hoops to 3.
        • The hoops may be neatly aligned or disoranized.
        • Even with multiple hoops showing at the same time the hoops can move side to side.
    • Dunk the ball fast enough and you begin charging the ball.
      • When you first charge the ball, a trail appears behind it.
        • As you continue charging the ball, the background changes, with a striped background showing.
        • Next the background goes dark and the ball receives a trail of stars at the highest level.
    • Obstacles
      • As you advance through the game other obstacles appear including exploding bombs and other basketballs.
        • Bombs appear periodically. Running into them does not destroy your ball, but can throw your shot out of alignment.
        • Other balls bounce around the screen and can knock your shot out of alignment. The additional basketballs only appear after you’ve reached a score of 50 or more.
  • Scoring
    • You earn a point for every hoop you land.
    • This value increases to 2, 3, 4, and then 5 points after you charge the ball.
      • The ball charges up (and retains current charge) only when you make a clean shot that does not hit the rim.
      • Each shot you make cleanly after the ball is fully charged is worth an additional point, so you could score 6, 7, or 8 points per basket as you keep the streak going.
  • Coins and customization
    • Pick up coins while shooting hoops.
      • Each time you make a shot another coin may appear on the screen.
      • Only one coin appears on the screen at a time & you have to collect the current coin before the next coin will appear.
    • Use the coins you’ve collected to buy new balls at the customization screen.
      • There are 14 additional balls for sale, with each ball costing 150 coins.
      • The difference between balls is only aesthetic.
      • Ball variations include: a European basketball design, a ninja, a bowling ball, a beach ball, a snowman face, an orange soccer ball, a purple basketball, a green and yellow basketball, an ice cream cone, a pink bear, an orange and black yin-yang, a blue basketball, a white and black soccer ball, and a watermelon.
  • Tips
    • Flight direction
      • When you tap on the left side of the screen you move left while jumping up & you move right when you tap on the right side of the screen.
      • For most players it is typically best to keep moving in one direction, as the screen wraps & having a bit of runway to the basket helps you set up your altitude and click cadance.
      • If you do not have enough time remaining to do a full wrap around the screen you can click on the opposite side of the screen you typically click on to change flight direction.
    • You have to fall through the hoop from above it for a shot to count.
      • On some moving hoops it can make sense to pop through the bottom only to try to fall back through the top.
    • Try to get above where the rim is well before you are close to the rim so you can time your moves for a smooth drop into the rim.
      • It takes more time to climb than drop & you have more granular controls when dropping from above than while climbing.
    • Earning vs scoring
      • If you are trying to unlock other ball skins try to collect a coin every time you make a shot.
      • If you are trying to play for the high score try to keep on fire streaks going as long as possible (sometimes this means skipping a shot that would bump the rim & wrapping around again) & only collect coins that are incidental to the ball’s path.
