  • Jetpack

    • The jetpack has limited power. If it runs out of juice, you fall.
    • The jetpack charges automatically, but only if it’s completely empty.
    • Some places have alternative routes over using the jetpack.
  • Hearts, enemies, and hazards
    • Hearts
      • Hearts serve as your hit points. They provide you with some defense against enemies and sharp obstacles.
      • You start the game with 3 hearts and lose one each time you get hit.
      • You can replenish your hit points by collecting the hearts strewn across the level.
      • When you lose all your heart points, you die and must start the level all over again.
      • There are only a limited number of lives in a level. Collect them only if you need them.
    • Chasms
      • Falling off a chasm causes you to instantly die, regardless of how many hearts you have.
      • You can avoid falling off chasms by reaching another platform in time.
      • You can also use your jetpack or parachute to stave off falling.
        • Use the jetpack to ascend from a chasm. Make sure you have enough power to reach the other side.
        • Use the parachute to slow down your descent when crossing wide chasms.
    • Foes
      • Foes will attack you if you get too close.
      • If your enemy hits you, you lose a life.
      • You can kill these enemies using your laser.
    • Axes
      • Axes swing around in a circle. If they hit you, you lose a life.
      • Time your jumps to avoid the axes.

    • Points
      • Coins are worth 325 points each.
      • Each enemy you kill is worth 1,000 points.
      • Each star is worth 10,000 points.
    • Stars and ratings
      • Stars are essential to earning a 3-star rating and are an important part of your high score.
      • You need to collect all the stars to earn the highest possible score in the game.
  • Tips and notes
    • When using the jetpack, overshoot.
      • Go slightly above your target platform just to use up all your jetpack’s power.
      • This way, you’ll charge up your jetpack again for the next time you need to use it.
      • Do this only when you’re certain you would down to a secure location.
    • Players who are left-handed will have a significantly easier time playing this game on the desktop. The controls are all located on the left side of the screen.
