• Starting the Game
  • Select the red and gray play button in the lower left of the welcome screen to bring up the section select screen.
    • The game has 2 sections which you can play in either order, or switch back and forth between.
    • Each section has 25 days which are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game data including which levels you have beat, your star rating on each day, your score on each day, and your cumulative game score.
  • The welcome screen has a fullscreen mode in the upper right corner, a switch character button on the left side of the screen, and a settings button in the lower right corner to control game sound and music.

    • Use your mouse to aim and the left click button to shoot.

    • Tap the screen with a finger to aim and shoot.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The lower left corner of the screen shows how many shots you have remaining.

  • Basics
    • You are given a limited number of bullets on each level to defeat all the zombies.
    • You can shoot zombies directly, or knock things into them.
    • Some levels contain complex layouts including narrow ages or switches you have to activate to create openings for your shots.
  • Stages
    • This game has 2 stages: lab and city.
    • You can play the stages in any order & switch back and forth between them.
  • Levels
    • Each stage of the game has 25 levels in it, for a total of 50 levels throughout the game.
      • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any point in time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by defeating all the zombies on it by the time you use your last bullet.
      • You lose by running out of bullets while some zombies are still alive.
  • Guns
    • On most levels you use a shotgun.
    • There are 2 other guns which are used on certain levels.
      • The machine gun shoots three shots at a time and uses a clip as the icon.
      • The rocket explodes when it hits an object or runs into a second wall.
    • You can not get hit by ricochets of your own bullets & do not take damage if you set off a rocket explosion near where you stand.
  • Strategy
    • Zombie Order
      • Try to go for the harder to reach zombies first when you can.
      • You never know how shots will ricochet the third or fourth time & you may take out some of the easier zombies while trying to hit the harder to reach ones.
      • If a zombie is hard to reach with a shot try to see if there is something you can knock into it instead.
    • Ricochet
      • Even if you have a straight shot you may want to opt for a ricochet shot if the shot is on a fairly flat plane.
      • By using a ricochet shot with some vertical movement you enable the shot to hit zombies in other parts of the level instead of bouncing back and forth on a level plane.
    • Moving platforms & zombies
      • Some levels have zombies which move or moving platforms.
      • You have to adjust your shot timing to compensate for how it will impact the shot angle or ricochet when a platform moves.
    • Level ratings
      • You get better at this game as you progress through it as later levels require greater creativity and have tighter clearances.
      • If you beat a level but earned a poor rating on it keep playing through until you beat every level in the game and then come back to it.
  • Scoring
    • Level scores
      • Each zombie you destroy is worth between 1,000 and 2,000 points.
        • headshots are worth 2,000 points
        • zombies destroyed by knocking something into them are worth 1,500 points
        • body shots are worth 1,000 points
      • Each bullet you have remaining at the end of a level is worth 3,000 points.
      • Your star rating is based on your score.
    • Your game score is cumulative across levels.
