• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Press the play button in the lower center of the welcome screen to start the game.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right, a game developer information button in the lower left, and a more games button in the lower right. Your best score is shown above the play button.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Press the W key to jump.
    • Press (and hold) the S key to stop moving.
    • Use your mouse cursor to aim & press the left click button to fire
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use the on-screen controls.
      • The stop button is in the lower left corner.
      • The jump button is to the right of the stop button.
      • Tap anywhere on the screen to shoot a rocket.
    • A number of aspects which make mobile play harder than desktop play:
      • Smaller screen space makes aiming shots harder.
      • Your finger can block your screen view when you are aiming a shot.
      • On desktop you can remain stopped while firing rockets at other stickmen, and on mobile you start moving again whenever you fire rockets.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the screen shows your remaining health.
    • The top center of the screen shows your current score.
    • The upper right corner of the screen has buttons for restarting the game and controlling game music.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a simple endless obstacle course runner where you must time your jumps to avoid hazards.
      • Defeat other stickmen to score extra points.
    • Movement aids
      • Zip lines – these carry you over hazards including blades and wide chasms.
        • At the end of them you fall off in the direction you were heading unless you jump off them early.
        • You can press the S key to fall early.
        • You can press the W key before the end of the path to jump off of them and land further out.
      • Moving platforms – you have to stand still on them to not run off the edge of them.
      • Fixed floating platforms – you can jump on them. Running into the side of them does not hurt you, but slows you down.
    • Hazards
      • Chasms – falling down through a chasm is instant game over.
      • Stop signs – warn you of an moving platform you must use.
      • Spikes – they are stationary. Running into them takes about 25% of your health.
      • Spinning blades – they move back and forth. Touching them takes around half your health. Some platforms have multiple spinning blades in a row.
      • Large stones – block your path. You can shoot them out of your way.
      • Stickmen – they shoot bazookas at you. Getting hit takes off around 20% of your health.
  • Scoring
    • Each meter you run is worth a point.
    • Each stickman enemy you defeat is worth 50 points.
    • At the end of each game it shows your total score and how many enemies you have killed.
  • Tips
    • Stop jump
      • Be careful not to hit stop while you are in the middle of a jump unless you want to fall straight down. Doing so will stop your horizontal momentum and lead you to fall directly below.
      • The one area where stop jumping is a great idea is when you are landing on a small platform. In these cases intentionally overjump to ensure you make it far enough then tap the stop button to fall when you are atop the narrow platform.
    • If you are on a moving platform you can stay on it as it moves back and forth, though you must keep the stop command pushed until you are ready to run and jump off of it.
    • If a nearby platform is below you then you may not need to jump onto it and may be able to fall onto it.
    • Running into the side of a fixed platform causes you to stop & does not harm your health.
    • You are not penalized for stopping frequently, nor for stopping for extended periods.
      • If a portion of the course seems complex stop to analyze it before entering it.
      • If you see enemies at the far side of the screen stop early and shoot from afar.
