• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the music button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.

      • Press the up arrow key to slide up.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Move from one end of the corridor to the next to collect the boxes.
      • You can only move through corridors from end to end.
      • Your movements only stop when you run into a wall.
    • Use the boxes you picked up to build a bridge.
    • Unlike other bridge building games, you will not fall off it you don’t complete the bridge.
      • You will stop at the block you end at.
      • The entire bridge functions as an extension to the corridor you were in, regardless of whether the bridge has a turn.
    • Use the purple portals to move from one disconnected part of the level to another.
      • Like bridges, your movement in portals is continuous; you will keep moving to the other end of the new corridor as though it was connected to the previous one.
    • Don’t hit any of the spikes.
      • The spikes retract, then come up again.
      • Time your moves with care to avoid the spikes. We recommend moving just after the spikes retract.
    • Arrow squares
      • Some squares have arrows on them, which redirect your movement in the direction shown when you go across them & do not let you go across them while moving in the opposite direction.
    • Reach the door to clear the level. The next level automatically loads after you finish your current one.
      • If you hit the spikes, it’s game over.
      • You automatically restart each level after a game over.
  • Levels
    • The game has 15 levels, which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can replay any of the levels you’ve previously beaten.
      • When you beat the final level the screen goes black, as the game does not have a game over / thanks for playing screen.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by picking up all the boxes and safely exiting through the stairwell to the next level.
      • You lose a level by running into spikes.
  • Score
    • Your score for the level is based on the number of boxes you pick up. Each box is worth 100 points.
    • Every level score is unique to that level and does not carry over.
    • Each time you die and start over, your score is reset to zero.
  • Tips
    • Try to plan your routes so that you minimize the number of times you go across spikes.
    • Try to cross spikes from a nearby square whenever possible so you can wait until the spikes retract to move.
    • If you know your path will cross spikes that are far away or out of screen you can use the timing of other spikes in the screen and an estimate of your distance to lead the timing so that you move over the spike area when the spikes are retracted.
