• Starting the Game
  • Select the play button at the center of the welcome screen to begin.
  • On the top center of the welcome screen are the following audio controls:
    • Select the speaker button on the left to turn the game’s sound effects on or off.

  • Basic rules
    • Objectives
      • Destroy all the monsters in the dungeon to finish the level.
      • Reach the trap door to exit the level.
    • Movement
      • You can only slide from one edge to the next.
      • Use stoppers like chests and monsters to change the rows you can move in.
      • Because they function as stoppers, monsters must be defeated in the proper order.
    • Level features
      • Treasure chests
        • Treasure chests serve a simple permanent stoppers.
        • Use the to shift positions as needed.
      • Monsters
        • Monsters can be used as stoppers only once.
        • You must defeat all the monsters to open the trap door.
      • Spikes
        • You can move past retracted spikes with no issue.
        • Once a spike is pushed out, it will kill you if you touch it.
        • If a level has spikes, be careful when undoing if they are already deployed.
        • If you die after touching a spike, you automatically restart the level.
      • Ghosts
        • Ghosts act like cue balls in billiards. Once you hit them, they will move until they hit something.
        • Use them to hit monsters located in the more perilous parts of a level (e.g. behind spikes).
        • The ghosts move in the direction you hit them from.
      • Skeletons
        • Skeletons leave behind ghosts when you smash them.
        • Activate them at the right time to get the means to take out specific monsters.
        • The ghosts need to be defeated to clear the level. Ghosts can be smashed into other enemies or the level walls to beat them.
  • Levels
    • There are 20 levels in this game, which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can replay any of the levels that you’ve already unlocked.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by defeating all the enemies on it and climbing down the ladder to the nest stage.
      • You lose a level if you run into an arrow or spikes. When you lose the level automatically restarts at the beginning.
      • If you get stuck to where it is impossible to beat a stage you can restart the level again and try again.
  • Tips
    • Strategy
      • If you get stuck or make an error that is hard to undo reset the level and try again.
      • If you make a single error or a couple consecutive small errors (that do not kill you) use the move undo button in the upper right to undo the most recent move(s).
      • Work backward from the exit and see which enemies or stops are a square off center from it so you can use them as stops to change directions.
    • Skeletons
      • Each skeleton must be hit twice to defeat it.
      • If you run into the arrow of the skeleton you lose. You must attack from other directions.
      • If you run into a skeleton to take its first hit point then the arrow will change directions to the direction you came from to force the second attack to come from another direction.
      • If you hit a skeleton with a skull it does not change the skeleton’s attack direction.
    • Spikes
      • Each set of spikes can only be ed over at most once.
      • If an enemy is blocked by a path of spikes you will need to toss a skull at it to defeat it.
      • If you are attacking a skeleton for its first hit point and need the head to fly off and hit a distant enemy blocked by spikes make sure you do not hit them the first time by running into them in the direction you want the head to fly, or else the arrow will block you from making the second attack in that same direction.
