    • Your skis are quite long. If you turn sharply this will create a wide cross section for you to bump into something and crash. Thus it makes sense to try to turn early so that you are not turning sharply when going through an area with multiple obstacles in it.
    • You go slow off the start and speed up as you move down the mountainside. While you are going slow you should try to collect every flag you come across. As you move further down the hill it is easier to crash as you move faster and there are more obstacles, so it makes sense to play more conservatively.
