• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the bottom right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.

  • Basic rules
    • You begin with a set of pieces mounted using colored screws.
    • Collect the screws and place them in the containers that match their color
      • Selecting a screw automatically removes it.
      • The colored screws can only go in one of two places:
        • A container of its color.
        • Any of the five screw slots.
          • As you advance through the game the temporary holding slots increase from 5 to 6, 6 to 7, and finally from 7 to 8.
          • Screws stored in the temporary slots automatically go into the next colored container which matches their color.
          • If you run out of temporary slots and can not make a play into the current holder you have lost the level and must play it again.
      • The container can only hold matching screws.
        • Only the current container can hold screws.
        • Upon filling one screw, container, the next container will automatically take in any of the screws.
        • Plan ahead by focusing on removing both the current and the next containers’ screws.
      • Screws can only be removed when they aren’t obstructed.
        • They cannot be removed if they are under a piece.
        • They can be removed if they are obscured by another screw.
    • In some levels, the pieces held in place by the screws are see-through but are tinted.
      • The tint can obscure the colors of the screws beneath them.
    • Remove the screws in the correct order to remove them all.
      • When you run out of space on the screw slots and cannot add screws to the container, you cannot proceed and must reset the level.
      • Not every version of a level is winnable; expect to reset a lot.
  • Levels
    • The game’s 55 levels are unlocked sequentially.
      • Each time you reload the game, you automatically begin at the last level you’ve unlocked.
      • You can’t go back and replay previously beat levels without erasing your game progress and starting over.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a stage by removing all screws from the playing field.
      • If you get stuck and can not remove all of the screws you fail the level.
      • You can restart any failed stage an unlimited number of times.
  • Tips
    • Look at the next up piece in addition to the current piece to help determine which moves to make & what parts of the level to unlock.
    • In general it helps to remove screws lower on the screen before moving screws higher up. If the top screws are removed before the bottom ones pieces can get stuck on the lower pieces.
    • Try to keep making progress on working through the layers of depth on the game and avoid removing the screws on pieces with no pieces below them until later in the game so you keep unlocking more of the playing field.
    • If a piece is stuck in your way you may need to remove screws holding lower pieces in place so that the piece has a path to fall down.
