Game Play
Basics
This is a combat buggy racing game where your goal is to finish each race in first place.
Levels have a variety of other goals like not wrecking or picking up so much money.
As you progress through the game there are around a half dozen different course backgrounds including desert and grass.
Course differences are aesthetic.
Your cart drives the same on all surfaces.

Your vehicle takes damage if you run into obstacles on the course or the course walls.
You can swing a weapon at your opponents to harm them.
Your opponents can also swing weapons at you to do damage to your buggy.
Pickups
Levels have a variety of pickups inside them which you can collect by running over them.
Green money symbol is cash.
Star counts as one of the stars you need to collect.
Blue lightning bolt speeds you up.
Red lightning bolt slows you down.
Heart restores health.
Levels
This game has 33 races which are unlocked sequentially.
You can go back and replay previously beat races at any time.
Winning vs losing
To win a race you must finish in first place and cross the finish line before time runs out.
If you lose a race you can replay it an unlimited number of times as this game offers unlimited continues.
Race categories
Each race has a category theme like:
Race to the finish – traditional race, which typically has anywhere between 3 to 6 racers
Knockout – defeat the other racers to knock them out of the race & do not be in last place when the timer reaches zero & refreshes with another 40 seconds, then cross the finish line first before the timer fully expires
Escape – similar to race to the finish
Last man standing – similar to knockout
Head to head – vs race where there are only 2 racers
Police panic – quota where you have to destroy more police vehicles than other drivers do
Race goals
Each race has a list of 3 goals on it.
If you complete fewer than 3 goals you can still beat the race and unlock the next race so long as you finish first.
If you get fewer than 3 goals completed you can replay the race again as many times as you like.
The goals you have completed have gold trophies showing next to them.
If you complete some goals but not others you can complete the missing goal to round out the set & do not need to recomplete the other goals on the same race.
Example goals
Don’t crash, or do not get hit
Collect at least so much money
Collect some number of star buttons
Destroy a set number of police vehicles, or more police vehicles than your opponents
Spin 360 degrees some number of times
Use nitro boost

Tips
Maximizing speed
Minimize the time moving back and forth on the course as that effectively slows you down.
Try to anticipate where other vehicles may crash so you do not get stuck behind them.
If you are struggling with a particular course you can stock nitro in advance to make it easier.
Competitive driving
You can position your buggy to block other racers who are behind you.
If you want to do damage to a buggy that is behind you a good way to slow down slightly to allow them to catch up a bit is to turn back and forth.
This forces you to cover more ground, which allows them to catch up a bit.
You can hit them when they are a bit behind you if your vehicle is angled toward them.
Level goals
It is best to race through all 33 courses before trying to go back and get 3 stars on each.
If you already completed most level goals for a stage and are trying to complete a third missed goal you can focus on that singular goal without worrying about achieving all 3 goals on a single play.
Upgrades
Be sure to purchase upgrades frequently to upgrade you vehicle.
Purchasing the $1,000 tires early is a good bang for your buck.
When you purchase the best helmet or tires or buggy you do not need to purchase the lower level ones as they do not add anything to your gameplay.
The weapons are the exception to the rule where it can make sense to unlock many of them as they have different range and damage combinations.
Target Audience
The game is suited for players who like racing battle games.
Players can swing weapons at cop vehicles and other carts, which can also swing weapons at their carts.
When carts are defeated no blood is shown and the carts stop then disappear.
Other than the above the game has no adult themed content.
