• Starting the Game
  • Select the yellow and white Play button on the game’s welcome screen.

• Game Play
  • Hand scoring
    • Aces are worth 11, face cards are 10, and all other cards are worth their pip value.
    • Your score is 30 points if you get 3 of a kind.
    • Beyond a 3 of a kind you only score based on whichever suit you perform best in, meaning if you have the Ace of Spades along with a King of Hearts and a 3 of Hearts you would score 13 points and the Ace of Spaces would not count.
  • Winning & losing hands
    • Each player starts the game with 3 tokens. When all tokens are lost it is game over.
    • Whoever gets in last place on each hand loses a token.
    • If you stop the bus and lose the hand you lose 2 tokens.
  • Point scoring
    • Your total game score is cumulative across all hands.
    • Hand score by placement
      • The winner of a hand scores their pip value times 100.
      • The second place player in a hand scores their pip value times 50.
      • The third place player in a hand sources their pip value times 33.
      • The fourth place player in a hand scores their pip value times 25.
      • All scores are rounded to 100, so if you would have scored 858 (e.g. 26 * 33) that would become 900.
    • If you stop the bus but do not win nor lose the hand (e.g. get second place with at least 3 players left in the game) you get a bonus 500 points.
  • Strategy
    • Winning the overall game is about preserving tokens rather than scoring the maximum point total.
    • When there are 3 or 4 players in the hand it can help to be aggressive with pressing the Stop the Bus button early if you have 20 or more points, as there is a good chance at least 1 competitor will have fewer points.
    • When the game is down to 2 players it makes sense to be more conservative with when you call the bus as your competitor may have got a good deal & you lose 2 tokens if their hand is better than your hand, which means even if you started with 3 tokens you would only be 1 other routine hand loss away from losing the game.
    • If you are trying to get the highest point score possible it can make sense to hold out until you have a great score before calling to stop the bus.
