Mechanics
Match any of your cards with those on the top of the discard pile.
The cards can be matched according to color, symbol, or number.
The game helpfully highlights the cards you can use. If none are available, it highlights the draw pile.
Wild cards count as all colors. The player who discards it determines the color the color they want the round to continue
Players unable to match on their turn must draw another card from the draw pile.
If they draw a card that can be matched, they can do so. Otherwise, their turns end.
If a player plays a Draw 2 card, the next player must draw two card and lose their turn.
If a player deploys a Draw 4 card, they not only dictate the next color the round proceeds with but also forces the next player to pick 4 cards and lose their turn.
Players take turns in a cycle.
Arrows on the corners show the direction of the current turn.
Deploying reverse cards will change the order of turns the players take.
Deploying skip cards forces the next player in the cycle to lose their turn.
Keep deploying cards from your hand until you only have one card left.
Hit the Four Colors button as soon as you only have 1 remaining card.
If you neglect to press this in time, you will be forced to draw 2 more cards.
Expanded rules
Classic mode has the standard set of cards inspired by those from the original Uno.
Special mode adds 4 more cards:
TrueSight:
This allows the player to demand another player to reveal their cards.
Only the player using the card can see the hand.
Target
The player who deploys this card can choose another player to draw 2 more cards.
Unlike a regular Draw 2, this player will not lose their turn.
Charity
The player deploying this card gets to choose a player to give two cards from their own hand.
The selected player must accept this.
Eliminate Player
In 3- and 4-player games, you get to choose which player to remove completely. This player will be out for the remainder of the session.
If this player is you, you must wait until the computer players play through the entire round before you can play again.
In a 2-player game, the player who deploys this card is automatically the winner of the round.
The direction of the turns will be reversed. The player next in line will be denied a move.
The next player (who drew the card) will not be able to draw or discard from their hand on their turn.
The player after them will be forced to draw two cards.
This affects the player that previously came before you rather than the player after you.
One for Me
This is basically a handicap card. Once they deploy this card, players must draw another one.
Frozen Color
This card locks the color of the card in the player’s choice.
Special cards function the same way:
With the exception of the Frozen Color card, they cannot change the active color.
They can be deployed for any color.
Tips and tricks
Make the most of every wild card.
When choosing a color, choose the one that you have the most of in your hand.
It pays to be devious
Like in Uno, the player about to win must make their intentions known. Once that happens, immediately deploy anything you have (Draw 2s and 4s, Special cards) against them.
Try to use skips and reverses to keep them from discarding as well, if only to buy you time to discard your own.
Special mode allows you to be extra ruthless toward players about to win.
Charity cards can help tip the balance of power in your favor by offloading some of your own cards to player who’s otherwise about to win.
Use the TrueSight to see what the single-card player has and confound their ability to discard it.
If by sheer stroke of luck you have an eliminate player card, take out the player who has the lowest number of cards (especially the one who’s about to win).
Consider discarding as many of your high-value cards as possible.
Most high value cards (worth 20 or 50 points) are also cards you can use against a player about to win.
Discard large-value numbers early on.
If winning the round isn’t in the cards (literally), clearing large-value cards from your hand will reduce the points your opponent will receive for winning the round.
Target Audience
The game is suited for players who like card games inspired by Uno.
The game has no adult themed content.
