• Starting the Game
  • The game begins with a narration explaining the plot of the game.

    • With your keyboard:
      • Use the up arrow or the W key to jump.
      • Move left by pressing the A key or the left arrow key.
      • Move right by pressing the D key or the right arrow key.
      • Press Enter to pause or unpause the game.

    • With your mouse:
      • Move the cursor to aim the dagger.
      • Left click to shoot the dagger where the arrow is pointing.
      • Right click to make the dagger come back.

• Game Play
  • Opening moves
    • Explore the area to practice the game’s controls.
    • Make your way to the cave and look for the key.
    • Pick up the key to open the locked door.
      • Once you opened the locked door, jump down the chasm behind the door.
      • Don’t jump over the chasm next to where you found the key.
    • From there, you will find the glitchy magic dagger.
    • Move to the gap to the left and cross it.
      • The gap is lined with spikes and is too wide to cross.
      • Shoot the dagger into the pit as directed.
      • Using the plartform created, hop on over to the other side.
    • Pick up the dagger again and enter the door.
  • Basic rules
    • Use the mushrooms to boost your jumps.
    • Avoid the spikes and the spiny plants.
    • Shoot the dagger to transform gaps and hazards into usable platforms.
      • The dagger basically reverses the floor tiles it hits.
        • Hitting an ordinary floor will turn it into spikes and vice versa.
        • The same applies to spiny plants and mushrooms.
        • It will also create new platforms where there were once blank spaces between scaffolding.
      • Create paths for you to jump on and make your way to the door somewhere at the other side of the level.
      • Once you’re done, re-summon the dagger to use it again.
    • If you die while the dagger is being used, it will stay where you last left it.
      • You can easily re-summon it when you return to the checkpoint.
    • through check points to save your progress.
      • Check points appear as gaps in the walls.
      • They turn red when you activate them.
      • Each time you die, you reappear in the latest check point you ed through.
  • Tips
    • When throwing a dagger while jumping be sure to for the impact of the screen move on your aim when your jump.
  • Level guides
    • Level 1: basics of walking and jumping, use checkpoints, collect key to open gate.
    • Level 2: grab the dagger, aim it at the spike pit in the middle, jump onto the temporary platform, then jump off it & retrieve the dagger.
    • Level 3: learn to aim down to create temporary platforms to fall down onto & to aim up to create platforms to jump, repeatedly using the dagger
    • Level 4: turn spiked vegetation into bouncy mushrooms with the dagger, turn gray fall through platforms into brown walkable platforms using the dagger, learn to aim the dagger while bouncing on mushrooms & to remove the dagger and reshoot it again while in midair
    • Level 5: ricochet dagger throws off metal plates, jump past metal plates to throw your dagger at the ground to create a place to land on, and collect robots to unlock doors, throw daggers at gray platforms to turn them into brown climbable platforms & throw daggers at brown platforms to turn them into gray fall through platforms. Be careful not to backtrack after ing through a gate as you can accidentally consume the second robot/key on the first gate if it reappears.
    • Level 6: climbing an incredibly long set of bouncing mushrooms & other platforms without a savepoint. quite frequently you need to jump from platform to platform by retracting your dagger just after the bounce and throwing it again to create a space to land on. Near the left edge of the sequence just before where you reach a savepoint you reach the horizontal edge of the screen, meaning the moving/aiming while jumping across for every other platform in the sequence just before will fail spectacularly, and you will likely want to throw your computer through the window at the cheapness of that final jump before the checkpoint. After reaching that checkpoint you move across the top of the level back right to the exit.
    • Level 7: Long vertical climb up a shaft which has 2 metal poles on it that can reflect your dagger. You have to shoot strategically and keep crossing back and forth to create a climbable platform. In multiple instances you have to stand on a temporary platform created by your dagger, jump off it, and then go into another temporary platform you create by throwing the dagger again.
    • Level 8: This level has a lot of glitch by default, meaning some of the glitch occurs even without throwing a dagger. You still have to use the dagger like on other stages to create temporary platforms and to create gaps in purple blocks. There is an exit door to the far right of the level which if you go through it says “To be continued…?”
