• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • Select the gear button to edit the game’s audio:
    • Move the music and sound sliders to increase or decrease their volume.
    • Select OK to accept the changes.

  • Levels
    • Levels are unlocked in sequence.
      • Only Level 1 is playable at the start of the game.
      • Finish one level to unlock the next.
    • There are 24 levels in this game.
      • Levels 1 through 23 are limited levels that you can finish.
      • Level 24 is endless mode. Keep playing for as long as you want.
    • You can replay any of the levels you’ve already unlocked.
  • Basic rules
    • Help the monkey recover the bananas trapped in the bubbles above the screen.
      • Launch more colored bubbles at the bubble stack.
      • When the bubble forms a group of 3 or more of the same color, the entire group pops.
      • Any bubble of a different color attached below only to the cleared group of bubbles will also fall down.
      • When the bubbles with bananas in them pop the bananas will fall.
    • The bubbles will not gradually move downwards.
      • They will only move down when enough bubbles are cleared on the lower rows.
      • To get the chance to find all the bananas, you must slowly bring down the rest of the stack.
    • You can keep track of your balls on the bottom row.
      • The monkey holds the ball you will launch.
      • The basket holds the next ball the monkey will throw.
      • You can press the button near the basket to switch the currently throwing and next up bubbles.
    • You only have a limited number of bubbles to shoot.
      • Run out of bubbles and you lose the level.
    • Retrieve all the bananas to win the level.
  • Special bubbles
    • As you progress through the game a variety of special bubbles are introduced. Some stages have multiple special bubble types.
    • wood block bubbles – these can not be destroyed, but can be removed from the pile by matching off the bubbles above them
    • clear bubbles – when you make a set of 3 or more bubbles adjacent to a clear bubble & the set is removed the clear bubbles turn the color of the bubbles which were removed
    • – sign – popping bubbles in this set will cost you 3 remaining shots per bubble with a sign on it (though you can knock these bubbles off the stack by hitting a higher set of a different color without penality)
    • + sign – these are the inverse of the negative sign bubbles. when you pop a set containing a plus symbol you gain 3 more remaining shots for each plus symbol bubble in the set you popped
    • lightning bolt – destroys a horizontal row, which in turn knocks off anything below that row
    • skull – if you hit any of these it is an instant game over
    • star – destroys every bubble on the screen of the same color you hit it with
  • Score and star rating
    • Scoring
      • Each bubble is worth 10 points.
      • You gain bonus points from clearing several bubble groups at once.
      • You also receive a bonus for every ball you didn’t use when you clear the level.
    • Star ratings
      • Your star ratings depend on your total score, which is determined by the number of balls it took to clear the level & how many you removed from the level.
      • The fewer balls you use to win, the higher your rating will be.
      • The highest level rating is 3 stars.
