• Starting the Game
  • Touch anywhere on the game welcome screen to start the game.
    • This will bring up the level select screen.
    • Initially only the first level is unlocked. As you beat a level the next level is unlocked.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The welcome screen has a developer information button in the upper left corner and a sound control button in the upper right corner.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move your character. You can also click on the white arrows near your character.
    • Your character automatically fires in the opposite direction of the movement.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the white arrows near your character to move them.
  • The game has a home button in the upper left corner & a restart level button in the upper right corner.
• Game Play
  • General
    • The goal of this game is to clear each level by shooting all the enemies on it.
    • When your character moves they slide as far as they can go in the direction you direct them to until they run into a hard object which stops them.
      • In later levels there are skulls in the corners of the screen. Running into those is a death.
    • In this game the order of operations matters.
      • If you shoot the enemies in the wrong order levels may become unbeatable, requiring a restart.
  • Tips
    • If you are stuck on a level it can help to work backward and consider the positions you would need to be in to shoot a particular enemy.
      • Pay special attention to enemies which are protected by a sand block and require you making multiple rounds.
      • When you are on the later levels with skulls in all 4 corners of the level try not to touch any wall unless it is at the end of the level, there is an inlet break in the wall between you and the skull, or there is a block directly across from you that you can slide into.
    • The light colored sand blocks can be destroyed by shooting them.
      • In some cases they are essential stops to help you get into hard to get locations, while in others they protect an enemy and require you to make a second to get at them.
