• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button at the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.
    • Select the shop button on the lower left to open the game’s shop screen.
    • Select the question mark button to open the game’s tutorial screen.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • You can view both the coins you collected and your high score on the top left corner of the welcome screen.

  • Basic rules
    • Collecting candies
      • To collect the candies, you must launch the jelly at them.
        • To launch the jelly, left click or tap on the side of the screen where the candy is.
        • Time each launch so that the jelly is aligned to the candies.
        • Be careful; the candies move erratically up and down each side of the screen.
          • Levels are not timed, so you can watch multiple cycles of the candy path to determine when to release.
          • Consider your elevation, the horizontal distance to the candy, the candy vertical position, and how quickly the candy moves when determining your release point.
      • After you’ve collected all the candies in one side, the platform holding the jelly moves to another location.
        • After this, new candies appear onscreen.
    • Avoiding spikes
      • The spikes line the left and right edge of the game screen.
      • If the jelly misses, they will hit the spikes. This is an instant game over.
      • Hitting one of the candies will keep your jelly from hitting the spikes.
  • Scoring
    • You earn a point for each piece of candy you collect.
    • You can view your high score on the game over screen and on the top left corner of the welcome screen.
  • Coins and characters
    • Collecting coins
      • Coins appear after you’ve charged the coin meter.
        • The coin meter is a series of 4 empty circles below the score counter at the top center of the game screen.
        • Each time you clear all the candies onscreen, you charge the meter by one circle.
        • When the meter is full, a few coins appear alongside the candies.
      • Pick up the coins the same way you collect candies.
      • Use the coins to do the following:
        • Unlock characters from the shop.
        • Resume the game. This option becomes more expensive over time.
    • Unlocking characters
      • Go to the shop to select and unlock characters.
      • To unlock a character, you must have enough coins to do so.
