• Starting the Game
  • Click on “NEW GAME” if it is your first time playing the game, or “CONTINUE” if you would like to continue a game you already played.
    • This will bring up the how to play screen, then send you to the level select screen.
    • Initially only the first level is available. Each of the subsequent levels is unlocked when you beat a level.
    • Your web browser automatically stores your level progress, level scores, and star ratings.
    • You can go back and replay previously beat levels.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right corner, social sharing buttons in the lower left corner, and a credits button in the lower right corner.

    • Use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to move left or right.
    • The up arrow key jumps.
    • Press the X key to attack. Attacks can hit enemies or break boxes in your way.
    • Press the up arrow and then the X key to do a jump attack.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Touch the screen with your fingers.
  • Indicators
    • Across the top of the screens it shows your health, how many stars you have collected, and how many points you have scored in the level.
    • At the top right there are buttons to pause the game and control sounds.

  • Enemies
    • There are stationary dragons which jump & dragons which fly across the screen.
    • You can hit the dragons by swinging your ax at them or by jumping and landing on them.
    • Dragons which fly stay on a level path. Flying crows can also hit you & they move up and down on their flight path.
    • Most enemies can be defeated with a single hit.
  • Stars
    • Each level has 3 stars on it.
    • You can beat the level without collecting all 3 stars.
  • Scoring
    • You score points for just about everything you do.
    • Collecting coins earns you points.
    • Killing dragons or crows earns you points.
    • Breaking boxes earns points.
  • Dying
    • You start each level with 3 full heart containers.
    • Each time you get hit you lose a heart container.
    • You can restore health by collecting red vials, though you can not hold more than 3 full heart containers.
    • If you fall off platform you die.
    • You can continue an unlimited number of times, but you start each level from its beginning.

  • The game is suited for vikings game fans of all ages.
