• Starting the Game
  • Click the green and red play button in the center of the screen to start the game.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your current score and your all time high score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse cursor to position on the screen and click your left click button to begin drawing a line segment. Keep the left click button pressed and drag to the destination to help guide the ball into the hoop.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with your finger and drag it to draw lines.
  • There is a sound control button in the upper right corner of the screen.
• Game Play
  • Basketballs
    • In general the basketballs are quite forgiving provided your line is flat or slopes down toward the basket.
    • The balls can bounce off either side of the screen and back into the basket.
    • Any ball which does not make it into the basket costs you one of your three lives.
    • Basketballs can bounce off one another on their ascent, so make sure you start your guide line wide enough that it accommodates any ball being thrown off course.
  • Pumpkins
    • The pumpkins have similar physics to the balls, but tend to come later into the round and move faster.
    • If any pumpkins make it into a basket then it blows up & you lose a life.
  • Strategy
    • Your lines do not need to be neat & you can make multiple line segments. Keys to your line should be:
      • that they slope down toward the basket
      • then terminate level with or slightly above the rim
      • you do not leave enough space for the ball to fall between the line and the rim on its initial descent or on a bounce off the rim
    • If the ball gets stuck you can make multiple additional line segments to try to push the ball, but you have to create them quickly.
    • Multiple rims & balls
      • As you advance through the game you go from getting 1 ball at a time to getting 2 balls at a time, then 3.
      • You can use the same rim for multiple balls. You do not need to make each ball go through a different rim.
      • If there are multiple rims and they are at uneven heights you can draw a line across the two rims after all the basketballs are above it and this will cause the balls to roll into a hoop while preventing any pumpkins from doing so.
