• Starting the Game
  • Press the stone button with a green triangle on it on the game’s loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.

    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels and best level ratings.

    • This is a rather challenging archery game themed after Halloween.
      • Unlike many archery games, you do not get an aim line and have to eyeball it.
      • You set your shot by pulling back and then adjusting up or down on the the screen to shoot up or down.
      • Near the top of the screen a branch lays down which can block your shots.
      • In many cases overlapping items will appear, requiring you to time & aim your arrow to hit multiple objects, or requiring you to fire multiple arrows in rapid succession.
    • Initially the game has you shoot at pumpkins.
      • As you advance through levels witch hats & eyeballs are added to the pumpkins.
      • All 3 objects are effectively the same other than the skins.
      • Each item shows a shadow near the bottom of the screen, appears acros the bottom of the screen, travels up near to the top, and then falls back down.

    • This game has 18 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by missing 3 or fewer objects which appear on screen & hitting all of the remaining items with arrows.
        • An arrow can through multiple objects in a row.
      • You earn a star rating on each level based on how many objects you miss.
        • If you do not miss any objects you get 3 stars.
        • If you miss 1 object you get 2 stars.
        • If you miss 2 objects you get 1 star.
        • If you miss 3 objects you get no stars.
        • Miss 4 or more objects and it is game over.
      • This game offers unlimited continues.
  • Tips
    • Where to hit
      • On most stages it is best to hit objects near the top of their path as they travel in both directions near the arc & move slower there, giving you a greater likelihood of hitting them.
      • An added benefit of shooting near the top is you have a bit of time to aim before you need to shoot and you can also chase falling objects downward if you miss them on the first attempt.
    • Spamming
      • The last couple levels of this game are exceptionally hard.
        • Playing normally it is hard to even get a zero pumpkin rating on the last level.
      • One way around the problem is to simply repeatedly fire arrows without much regard to aiming.
        • Tap onto the screen and move only slightly then release.
        • There is no real recoil time, reload time, or ammo limit – you can keep firing hundreds of arrows rapidly one after another.
        • You can adjust your shot angle slightly up or down when needed, but otherwise just keep firing, even before you see items appear onscreen.
