• Starting the Game
  • A cutscene when you first load the game explaining the premise of the game.
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button at the center of the screen to begin.
    • Choose between the following play modes:
      • Levels
      • Endless
    • Note that endless mode is only available if you finished levels mode first.
  • To the left of the play button are the following:
    • Question mark button: Select this to open the tutorial window.
    • Trophy button: See your high score.
  • Toggle the game’s audio by selecting the sound button on the top right corner.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and high score.

    • Choose between the following characters
      • Pizza Paul: A balanced, “well rounded” player with average stats
      • Burger Bob: Puts the fast in fast food with a speed bonus
      • Sushi Sue: Jumps higher than the others
    • Basic rules
      • You Grub Runner automatically starts running.
      • Collect coins to earn points.
        • Coins come in single units valued at 50, or in bags of 500.
        • Use the magnet power up to bring coins closer to you for a brief moment.
      • Pick up the following power ups:
        • Hourglass: Slow down time. This makes it easier to react.
        • Magnet: Collects all nearby coins without touching them. This does not work on coins hidden inside bags.
        • Jetpack: Use this to ascend and cross wide chasms.
      • Avoid the following hazards:
        • Pots of boiling oil.
        • Falling off chasms.
  • Game modes
    • Levels mode
      • This is a finite version of the game. Get the Grub Runner to the end of the level to clear it.
      • You have lives in this mode:
        • You have 3 lives at the start.
        • You can resume from the start of the level if you die.
        • You can only continue if you have lives left. Lose all your lives, and you must start from Level 1.
      • Complete 5 levels to unlock endless mode.
    • Endless mode
      • There is no end to this mode of the game. Keep running until you can’t!
      • You have no lives in this mode. If you fail, you start all over again.

  • The game is suited for people of all ages who like running games.
