• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the enlarge button on the top left corner to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
    • Select the question mark button on the top right corner to open the tutorial window.
    • Select the gear button to the lower right of the play button to turn the game’s sounds on and off.

  • Basic rules
    • Mechanics
      • You play as a diver in a competition. At the start, you appear on a diving board.
        • Prepare for a dive by left clicking or tapping anywhere onscreen. This will bring up an arrow.
        • The arrow moves in an arc. The direction the arrow points indicates the direction you will jump.
        • Left click or tap at the right time to jump in the correct direction.
      • As you dive, make at least one flip along the way down.
      • To execute a proper dive, you must land with the head and arms entering the water. You cannot land on your back or belly.
    • Rounds
      • Each time you make a successful dive, you move up a level.
      • Move up to the topmost level and succeed, and you finish a round.
      • You can play through as many rounds as you can.
  • Diving attempts
    • You begin the game with 3 available lives.
    • Each time you fail to observe proper form in a dive, you lose a life. Poor form includes the following:
      • Not making at least one flip when diving
      • Belly flopping
      • Back flopping
    • Lose all your lives and you’re disqualified.
      • The first time you reach zero, you can select More Lives to gain two more attempts. The ad function is switched off for now, so go ahead and get it.
      • If you don’t want to try anymore, you can simply say no. From there, the game ends.
      • The second time you run out of lives, it’s game over.
  • Scoring
    • You earn most of your points by diving:
      • Each successful dive earns you between 100 and 200 points.
      • The more flips you do, the better your score will be.
    • You can also earn points by collecting coins and treasure chests.
      • Gold coins are worth 30 points.
      • If you failed your dive, you still get 10 points for picking up a coin.
      • Treasure chests are worth 50 points.
    • You can view your best score on the game over screen.
