• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select Play at the center to begin.
    • Select the question mark button on the top left corner to open the game’s tutorial.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your best score.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to instantly drop the emoji where your cursor is pointing.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap anywhere on the screen with your fingers to instantly drop the emoji in that location.

    • Emoji button: Opens the emoji chart
    • Current score

    • Timer: Records the amount of time you’ve been playing

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You begin with an emoji already starting to drop.
      • The game only drops the first four emojis.
    • Drag and drop the emoji to any of the six bottom spaces you want to put it in.
      • The moment you release your click or tap, the emoji falls down.
      • Choose the spot to drop the emoji before it falls down by itself.
      • We recommend planning both the current and next emoji’s locations in advance.
    • Merge identical emojis together to form an emoji that is greater in value by one.
      • Emojis merge in the direction of the emoji being placed.
      • Merging multiple emojis will let you increase the value of the emoji several times.
      • For instance, merging three 3s will get you a five.
    • Keep merging emojis until you get one valued at 11.
      • While the welcome screen shows a 12 emoji tile, technically you can not merge past 11.
      • When two 11 emoji tiles touch they merge into a single emoji tile valued at 11.
    • Don’t let the stack of emojis get close to the top.
      • Once one emoji reaches the area closest to the top, a red line appears.
      • If the emoji stack sures that line, it’s game over.
    • On the game over screen, select the play again button to start a new session.
  • Scoring
    • Each time you merge a pair of emojis, you earn 2 points.
    • You can compare your latest and best scores on the game over screen.
  • Tips
    • Numerical order
      • In general it is best to keep stacks in ascending numerical order as you move lower down on the stacks.
      • If you get a stack out of order you can try to make a merge in a parallel column that pulls the out-of-order tile across as part of a merge.
      • It is best to keep the leftmost couple stacks low to the ground as the pieces enter the game on the leftmost column & keeping those columns low gives you more time to make moves.
    • Quick progress
      • You can merge to higher numbers faster by merging 3 or 4 emojis at a time.
      • When you merge 3 tiles it skips 2 spots (e.g. from 2 to 4) and when you merge 4 at once it skips 3 spots (e.g. 2 to 5).
      • To merge 3 at a time create an L-type pattern where the center piece is filled in last.
      • To merge 4 at a time create a plus-type pattern (minus the top center) and drop the middle piece last.
      • You can also make your merges in an order that sets off a chain reaction of follow on merges.
    • Pausing
      • The game does not have a pause button.
      • You can pause the game by switching to another tab.
