    • Each level is crawling with enemies.
      • Enemies will often attack if they get close enough.
      • In later levels, enemies become more aggressive and will approach you to attack.
      • You can take out all enemies with your slash attack. Most enemies take several hits to destroy.
    • Many levels have platforms and trampolines.
      • Both allow you to jump up levels that are too high up for you to reach.
      • Most platforms consist of junk like boxes and drums. They are basically stair steps.
      • You can destroy some platforms with your slash attack. Use this to clear out boxes that stand in your way.
      • Trampolines help you jump significantly higher.
    • Some levels have hazards.
      • Hazards include laser walls and spiked falling stampers.
      • Making with most of them will cost you a hit point.
      • Pits of acid are an instant death; if you fall into them, you must start the level from the beginning.
  • Health
    • You begin each level with 10 hit points.
    • You lose hit points each time an enemy or hazard hits you.
    • Lose all your hit points and you fail the level.
    • Collecting health tokens scattered throughout the level replenishes your hit points.
