Buy and merge chickens and put them at the front of eac h row to fight waves of incoming zombies. Upgrade your attacks and income earning potential and fight through 30 unique waves.

• Starting the Game
  • Press the green and white Play button in the lower center of the welcome screen to start the game.
    • Your first playthrough starts with a tutorial.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including completed levels, paid upgrades, and chicken positions.
  • The lower right corner of the welcome screen has an erase progress / reset game button.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse to interact with buttons, or to drag and drop chickens to merge them or move what rows they are on.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to interact with buttons and chickens.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Across the top of the screen the game shows your coin savings, what wave number you are currently playing, and a status bar indicating how close you are to completing the current wave.
    • Across the bottom of the screen are buttons to discard chickens, go to the upgrades menu, buy another chicken, repair your defenses, and go back to the welcome screen.
      • The buy a chicken and repair defenses button show the cost of the next purchase or repair.
      • The repair defenses button has a health status bar on it.

  • Basics
    • This is a row defense shooter game loosely themed after the Plants vs Zombies series.
      • Players defend 6 rows from incoming zombies by placing chickens on tree stumps at the end of each row.
      • Chickens can be moved back and forth between rows.
      • Chickens can be taken off the stumps and placed in any of the 10 merge holding boxes.
    • Chicken ranks
      • You can use income earned to buy chickens.
      • Each chicken you purchase has a numerical rank assigned to it.
      • Chickens can be merged together to create stronger chickens. For example, 2 chickens worth 4 each can be merged together to create a chicken valued at 5.
      • Chicken ranks range between 1 and 10.
      • A table below shows the default chicken attributes at each rank.
  • Upgrades
    • In addition to repairing your defenses, or buying more chickens and merging them, you can also purchase across-the-board upgrades.
      • Damage – do more damage per attack.
      • Attack speed – attack the zombies faster.
      • ive income – boost the rate of ive income earned by chickens.
      • Wave income – boost the income used at the end of each wave.
      • Shot time – decrease the time it takes to shoot.
  • Levels
    • This game has 30 levels (called waves) which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can’t go back and replay previously beat levels without erasing your game progress and starting over from the beginning.
      • After you beat all 30 stages the game loads blank levels.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a wave by surviving through all segments of the attack.
      • You lose a wave if your fort defenses get to zero health.
      • If you lose a wave the game allows you to keep your coins and play it again.
  • Tips
    • Stay level
      • Zombies can come in almost any pattern, so it makes sense to try to keep most rows of similar rank to each other, so that you do not have to actively move the chickens around while fighting.
      • If you are near the end of a wave and there is only one or two rows with many zombies in them you can merge those rows ahead so that you can defend against them, and then use the time between waves to upgrade the other rows.
    • Stay focused
      • Try to do most of your upgrades and chicken buys between each wave so you have less to do during the waves.
    • Upgrades vs ranks
      • While chickens are rather cheap it can make sense to keep buying more chickens and merging them, though as chickens get more expensive it makes a lot more sense to purchase the across-the-board upgrades which improve the performance of every chicken.
      • Players can sort of get stuck in waves 7, 8, or 9 if they do not upgrade aggressively and keep their chickens fairly even. If this happens repeatedly it probably makes sense to skip buying the defense upgrade and just commit to buying more attack upgrades until you have failed the level enough times that you are powerful enough to easily get past it.
