• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select Play to begin.
    • Select the question mark button on the top left corner to learn how to play.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click to drop down the cake layers.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to drop the cake layers.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Bottom left corner (top-down):
      • Recycle button: Lets you throw away cake layers the monster doesn’t want.
      • Current score
    • Bottom right corner
      • Gear button
• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Build up a cake based on the monster’s specifications.
      • The monster will want a cake as tall as the one indicated by the line.
      • The monster will also approve or disapprove of each cake layer that appears on top of the screen.
    • To build up the cake, left click or tap anywhere to drop the cake layer.
    • Watch out for the monster’s approval:
      • If the monster says yes to the slice, you’re clear to drop it in.
      • If they say no, select the recycle button to get rid of the slice and replace it with a new one.
    • Repeat the process until the cake is just tall enough to reach the dashed line.
      • If the cake stays up long enough, the monster is satisfied and pays you.
      • From there, you get a new monster customer.
      • Keep playing for as long as you can.
    • If you defy the monster’s orders, it’s game over.
  • Scoring
    • You earn a point for every layer you add.
    • Your score is locked in whenever you finish a cake.
    • If you fail to make a cake the monster likes, you earn no points from that cake.
    • You can view your current and best scores on the game over screen.
