• Starting the Game
  • Click on the green, red & white button in the bottom center of the game to start the game.
  • The welcome screen also has 2 other buttons: a gear for game controls & a shopping cart for the in-game store.
    • The gear allows you to turn game sounds and music on or off.
    • The shop allows you to buy better bottles, magnetic force & extra throws.
  • Your web browser automatically stores your high score, coin savings and unlocked items.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Tap the left click button on your mouse when you want to throw the bottle.
      • First throw it back and forth between Apple & Onion until you reach full power.
    • Hold the left click button in & scroll around to move the bottle while it is in air.
    • Release the left click button before it is time to catch the bottle & then tap it again when the bottle is in the green circle to catch it.
    • Repeat the process.
  • Mobile
    • Use your finger like a mouse.
• Game Play
  • Throwing
    • There are three different ways to throw the bottle: back and forth, up, or down.
      • If you throw the bottle downward it is game over.
      • If you throw the bottle back and forth (releasing near horizontal on the way up) you increase the strength of your eventual upward throw. Your main throw can have up to a 5X bonus strength on it off the start of the game, though this can go higher as you buy better bottles. Each bottle increases it by another 5x, from 5 to 10 to 15 to 20 and so on.
      • If you circle the bottle all the way around without throwing it across or upward then it deducts one from your bonus strength.
      • When you release on the way up significantly past horizontal the bottle will then move upward.
  • Navigating the bottle
    • Hold the left click button in on your mouse and move it back and forth.
  • Catching
    • To catch the bottle left click on your mouse right as the bottle is inside the green circle around your character.
      • The character which threw the bottle must not be the character which catches it.
      • The bottle automatically moves over toward the other character.
    • If you drop a bottle it is game over.
      • You do not collect coins obtained on the round a bottle is dropped.
      • You do get to keep the coins from prior rounds where the bottle was not dropped.
    • When the game starts you can initially catch up to 2 rounds of bottle throws per game.
      • You can buy upgrades to extend turns out to play up to 5 founds.
      • If you have remaining throws left and catch the bottle you retain the power multiplier which was achieved on the prior throw.
    • Catch timing
      • Your level score is the sum of your coins collected in each round times a multiplier for how well you timed the catch.
        • Good catch: 1x
        • Great catch: 1.5x
        • Perfect catch: 2x
  • Upgrades
    • Bottle Upgrades
      • Bottle – the classic bottle catch bottle which comes equipped. It has a max throw power of 5X.
      • Bottle 2.0 is better, faster & catchier. it costs 200 coins & upgrades your max throw power from 5X to 10X
      • Hydro Bottle is hydrating and eco-conscious. It costs 400 coins & upgrades your max throw power from 10x to 15x
      • Fancy Tea Bottle has you pay extra for the pretty designs. It costs 800 coins & upgrades your max throw power from 15x to 20x.
      • Botel is not just a bottle. It’s a lifestyle. It costs 1,500 coins & upgrades your max throw power from 20x to 25x.
      • Mondo Primo Sport X-treme is far superior to any other bottle. It costs 2,500 and increases your max throw power from 25x to 30x.
      • Flaming Bottle of Doom asks if you can handle the heat. It costs 5,000 and increases your max throw power from 30x to 35x.
      • Mega Bottle is the final bottle. Acquiring it indicates you are a master at bottle catch. It costs 10,000 and increases your max throw power from 35x to 40x.
    • Magnet Power
      • Attract more coins with a magnet = 300 coins
      • 2x magnet power = 1,000 coins
      • 3x magnet power = 3,000 coins
    • Throw more bottles every turn
      • +1 throw to 3 = 200 coins
      • +1 throw to 4 = 1,000 coins
      • +1 throw to 5 = 3,000 coins
  • Strategy
    • After you get 3 magnet upgrades you can collect many coins which you nearly ran over, however with less magnetic power you need to directly run over coins or nearly do so to collect them.
    • To make the game easier I mostly keep the bottle slightly in from the screen edge on the side it was thrown from on the way up & then move it across near the opposite edge on the way down.
      • This enables you to have 2 unique flow paths with the bottle aligned with where many bottles are located.
      • This also makes catching easier since you only have to worry about timing the click correctly & do not need to think about horizontal bottle placement for the catch.
    • Fully upgrading costs 28,900.
      • If you want to achieve the highest score possible you want to do it with a 5 bottles using a level 40 throw strength and full magnetic power.
      • Since the first upgrade is cheap on each it makes sense to do one round of each, then focus on increasing bottle strength for another round or two, then finish off doing all 3. I would save the last 2 bottle upgrades for last since the 2 of them combine to cost 15,000 of the 28,900 total.
  • Dying
    • Initially you get up to 2 throws but can increase that to up to 5 throws by buying upgrades.
    • Your game is over if the bottle touches the ground or use have used up all your turns.
