• Starting the Game
  • Press the yellow and white start button in the center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The bottom center of the welcome screen shows how many levels you have unlocked.
  • The lower right corner of the welcome screen has a settings button for resetting game progress.

    • Tap on the center of a platform or box that turns to rotate it 10 degrees clockwise.
    • Tap your mouse left click button in the dropping area to drop a ball.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to rotate platforms or boxes, and to drop the basketball into play.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the screen has a back button.
    • The top center of the screen shows the current level number.
    • The upper right corner of the screen has buttons for going to the level select screen and restarting the current level.

  • Basics
    • This is a ricochet physics puzzle game is inspired by pinball where your goal is to drop a basketball into the basket.
    • Dropping area
      • Near the top of the screen there is a box you can drop the ball into play from.
      • You can tap and hold to prep the ball for drop, move side to side as needed & then drop the ball when the timing is right.
      • You can drop the ball so it hits off the side of a platform to bounce it away from the platform.
    • Platforms
      • Levels contain a variety of platforms, some of which are fixed while others may rotate.
        • Fixed platforms do not have markers on them, whereas rotating platforms have a yellow center with a rotating arrow on it.
      • You can spin platforms that move clockwise 10 degrees by clicking on the center of them.
        • Platforms only spin clockwise, so if you need to spin a platform 10 or 20 degrees counterclockwise you will need to instead spin it clockwise by 160 or 170 degrees.
        • Some movable platforms are squares so they have 4 sides and you only have to rotate 90 degrees for a full turn.
      • When to spin moving platforms
        • You can rotate platforms before putting the ball in motion, or after dropping the ball in play.
        • If a platform needs to move counterclockwise you generally want to position it before dropping the ball. If a platform needs to move clockwise only then you may be able to move it concurrent with play.
        • Some platforms need to remain still until the ball is dropped on them so that the ball uses most of its energy before rolling off (or bouncing off) to a side.
    • Warps
      • Many stages have blue warps on them.
      • You can beat some levels without using the warps on them, but most levels which have a warp require using the warp to beat the stage.
      • When you go through a warp you go out the other warp and fall straight down.
      • Balls can go in a repeat pattern where the warp is used multiple times consecutively.
        • In some cases you need to rotate platforms
    • Stars
      • Some stages have stars on them which you can collect.
      • The stars have no impact on play & you can beat a stage without collecting the stars on it.
    • Hazards
      • Anything which is red is a hazard that will destroy the ball if touched.
        • Red platforms are stationary.
        • Red disks can be stationary, move side to side, move up and down, or move in a circular pattern on a grid.
        • Moving red disks show their movement track in the screen background.
  • Levels
    • This game has 30 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a stage by getting the ball in a basket.
      • You lose if your ball falls out of screen low, off screen to either side, or runs into on obstacle.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • Spin platforms that need to be adjusted counterclockwise in advance so you do not have to hit the rotation button 16 or 17 times while the ball is already moving.
    • Sometimes it can make sense to leave particular platforms flat so that the ball loses most of its energy before slowly rolling off to a side.
    • Be careful with your release timing and positioning with the ball if you have to position many platforms. Whenever you fail a level you will need to reset all the platforms to their correct settings from their defaults.
