• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, press the space bar to start the game.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • On the screen, an equation will appear and then disappear.
      • Memorize it before it disappears.
    • Find the answer to the equation and the subtract one from it. They can be expressed in the following:
      • Addition: (x + y) – 1
      • Subtraction: (x – y) – 1
      • Multiplication: x*y – 1
      • Division: (x/y) – 1
    • Using the box above, highlight the resulting sum on the row of boxes below.
      • Keep count very carefully.
        • The lower box your top box is currently on counts as a zero.
        • The next box you move to counts as a one.
        • Move with a regular cadence, as if you tap quickly it is easy to make a mistake.
      • To lock in your answer, press the space bar.
      • when the answer is a negative number you have to move one extra square to the left rather than going out to the answer and then back one.
    • If you answer correctly, the box on top moves down to the intact last box.
      • Repeat the process with the next equation.
      • If you don’t, then the box falls off. Game over.
        • The correct answer will appear on the game over screen.
    • You automatically return to the welcome screen a few seconds after each game over.
