• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the game’s welcome screen.
  • Tap anywhere on the game welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button, the lower left has a game developer information button, and the lower right has a more games button.

    • Use your mouse left click button to begin your draw, move the mouse cursor across the screen to set your shot strength and aim, then release to fire.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to begin your draw, move your finger across the screen to set your shot strength and aim, then release to fire.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner has a home button and the level number you are on.
    • Across the top there are star indicators showing you the number of arrows you must beat the level in to earn a star rating.
    • The upper right corner has buttons for restarting the level and controlling game sound.
    • The level select screen shows which levels you have unlocked and the best rating earned on each level you beat.

  • Basics
    • Your goal in this game is to take out all the competing archers before they take you out.
    • Defeating archers
      • If you take away 10 hit points from an archer you defeat them.
      • Headshots are worth 10 points.
      • Upper body shots are worth 5 points.
      • Leg shots are worth 2 points.
    • You face 2 types of archers: those who fire after you miss, and those who fire periodically even if you do not miss.
      • Periodic firing archers first appear on level 9 & then appear throughout most of the remaining levels.
      • They have a meter above their head which depletes from right to left.
        • When it reaches zero they fire an arrow at you.
        • The meter then refills & begins depleting again.
      • Take out the periodic firing archers first with headshots so you can take your time to slowly aim at the other archers & do not have to worry about incoming fire.
      • Other than the periodic firing archers the other archers do not fire until after you fire.
        • Even then the other archers only fire if you miss hitting another archer, or hit them somewhere other than the head.
  • Levels
    • This game has 36 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a level by defeating all the archers on it before they take you out.
      • You lose a level if the competing archers take you out before you defeat all of them.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of the level you lost.
  • Star ratings
    • You can earn up to 3 stars on each stage, for a total of 108 stars across 36 stages.
      • To earn 3 stars you must defeat every enemy with a head shot & not have any arrows miss.
    • Improving your star rating
      • You can a level even with zero stars, provided the enemy archers do not kill you.
      • You can replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher star rating. Your new rating will only replace the old rating if it is higher.
  • Tips
    • Star ratings
      • If you score fewer than 3 stars on any stage continue through to other levels until you complete the game & then come back to replay the levels you did not score well on.
      • You can beat a level even with a zero star rating, provided the enemy archers do not kill your stickman.
    • Timer enemies
      • As you advance through the game some enemies have a timer meter above them.
      • Those enemies should be hit first so that you take them out before they fire on you.
      • Taking them out first allows you to go slow and take your time when aiming at the remaining enemies, as you will only be fired upon if you take a shot and miss a headshot.
    • Enemy order
      • Hit the timer enemies first.
      • Most enemies can be hit with straight shots that do not need a lot of arc on them. Hit the enemies which do not need arc before the enemies which require an arc on the shot.
      • Some levels have enemies that are on static placements and others situated on moving platforms. In most cases it makes sense to hit the stationary enemies first.
    • Aiming
      • Your aim shows a series of dots indicating where the shot will go.
        • For most stationary enemies you can put one of the dots over the head and fire (provided there is not a platform that the arrow would get stuck on in between you and the enemy).
        • Where you can’t do a straight shot (due to the angle or a platform blocking you) and the angling does not allow the dots to reach the enemy you have 2 other options to your aim from prior plays:
          • where the mouse cursor was located on the screen background design
          • where two of the aiming dots were located on the screen background
      • For enemies on moving platforms you need to learn the pattern of the platform and then base your shot on when it is most advantageous.
        • Some platforms pause temporarily, giving you a brief window to take a shot on a fixed target.
        • If the arc is not high it is best to shoot enemies when the platform is moving toward you, giving a bit of lead to compensate for the amount of time the arrow is in the air.
        • If the platform is moving vertically or is far away you need to give more lead time on your shot.

  • The game is suited for players who like archery games.
    • When the player is hit by enemies or hits enemies with arrows the game shows cartoon blood.
  • Other than the above the game has no adult themed content.
